Homework for the week of November 13, 2017

This is a full week of school!  Students are on chrome books at least every other day, so if they would like to bring in their own ear buds or headphones, they can.   Please have your child tell you what our classroom expectations are.  Some students need a review to remember what is expected of them.  Thank you in advance.

Students should study math for at least 10 minutes each day.  There is nothing to turn in for this.  They should study facts for the number 4.  For example, 4X1=4 all the way to 4X10=40 and the related division facts.  Third graders need to know the math facts for the school wide goal this year!

There were just a few parents that were not able to attend parent teacher conferences.

Please let me know when you can meet to discuss how your child is doing.

Friday, November 17, 2017, the school will have Thanksgiving dinner at lunch time for the parents who sign up.   The cost for parents is $3.oo.  Tickets can be bought at the office and then keep the receipt.  Our class will eat Friday the 17th from 12:10-12:40.

Remind your child to study spelling words and math facts daily!

Students have a weekly homework packet unless noted in the newsletter like this one.  There are still a few students who are not turning homework in.  This will only benefit your child.  I only send home work they can do independently.  The material has already been covered in class.

The only thing I’m sending home for this week is their reading log.  This is due next Monday!

Please follow this link to signup for parent-teacher conference appointments.

Inadvertently, there was some way that people were signing up on a generic link from another source. This is the official link for my class. Sorry for the confusion, as this is the first year we are using this program. If you signed up previously, please sign up again, and I will be notified.

I look forward to seeing each and every one of you at PTC!!!
